After Iranians go to the polls in two weeks, the new Iranian leadership will likely see itself as being in a good position, having inflicted significant military and political defeats on its primary enemy, Israel. Ongoing opposition to any negotiated settlements regarding Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon, or Houthi-led areas of Yemen should persist.
