Israel May Not Target Iranian Oil

Summary:

As of this writing, it appears Israel will strike Iran militarily in the not-too-distant future. It is impossible to know how that strike will impact Iran or its oil sector. Israel’s goal of diminishing or eliminating Hezbollah, however, should guide military strategy. With that in mind, ESAI Energy is not convinced the oil patch will be high on Israel’s target list. Still, this is a volatile and unpredictable situation, so we rule nothing out.
