Would a Harris Foreign Policy Be Different

A Harris presidency might lead to a slightly less engaged U.S. foreign policy, but it’s still early to tell.


Summary: As Ukraine makes incursions in Russia, the conflict in the Middle East simmers, the Venezuela election is manipulated and Libya shuts in crude oil production, it is hard to ignore the weight of geopolitics in the oil markets. The foreign policies of Donald Trump and Joe Biden are now well-known. Would a Harris presidency change the path or tone of U.S. foreign policy? The tea leaves suggest perhaps a slightly less engaged foreign policy but it’s still early.
