DOWNSTREAM
For a U.S. refiner, prepared a country‐by‐country evaluation of market opportunities for gasoline exports to Latin America. Focusing on specific regional refinery upgrades through 2020, the study covered specification issues, biofuel blending, domestic production, demand, and retail market concentration.
For an aluminum smelter, ESAI undertook an analysis of the impact of changing crude quality on the production of petroleum coke at North American refineries. Analyzed expected changes in refinery crude slates and impact on production and quality of the petroleum coke produced at individual refineries.
Provided analysis of the future of global and regional gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, and kerosene markets for a large Asian refining company. For a major oil company, modeled and forecasted Chinese gasoline production by the quality and estimated changes in the use of blending components in response to new fuel quality requirements; tracked and forecasted production of alkylate, MTBE, and isomerate.
